Un coup de génie cette photo !!! J'ai examiné chaque cm2, ya pas un point qui déconne. Composition, parfaitement harmonieuse sans bizarrement être plan-plan. Couleurs, c'est de la peinture parce que ya comme un choix de palette restreinte. Atmosphère, superbement émotionnelle - un ciel de traine au début du printemps. Tu peux pas faire plus Normand. La jonction entre le petit canal et le chemin, le rappel des briques rouges du mur de gauche, avec le mur de gauche du canal déchirent l'air de rien... Tu t'attends à voir Maupassant ou Arsène Lupin apparaître au coin de la rue, voire les deux discutant ensemble... Elle penche d'un quart de degré vers la droite, c'est sûrement ce qui la rend hyper intéressante et ajoute à la profondeur et à la perspective en se substituant au manque de flou atmosphérique qui la rend si particulière. Le lampadaire, il faut le l'inscrire au monument historique. Voilà, c'est tout ce que j'ai à dire : ce truc n'existe pas et tu as réussi à le photographier!

Alors là, ça fait plaisir. En plus je regarde la photo d'un autre œil maintenant.Par contre plus je la regarde plus je trouve qu'elle penche mais je n'arrive pas à me résoudre à la redresser. Surtout après tes arguments.

En tout cas merci beaucoup pour l'analyse, ton temps et ton sens de la formule.

En fait c'est quasi subjectif et ça touche parfois à l'illusion d'optique des masses les unes par rapport aux autres cette histoire de penché (regarde l'arbre à droite, il est parfaitement droit)... Donc, je suis pas certain moi-même... mais mon intuition c'est que c'est de toute façon un "défaut" qui sert le sujet... en donnant une sorte d'effet fish eye qui ajoute de la perspective, ou peut être qui ajoute à ce côté Walt Dysney, artificiel. Très difficile à dire tout ça... En tout cas en passant une autre remarque, parce que j'ai scanné ta galerie, et la dé-saturation est juste pile poil, par rapport à d'autres photos ou elle apparaît trop exagérée, voire "recette", grâce à la touffe d'herbes en second plan au pied du lampadaire qui est plus pêchu...

It's lovely indeed! I don't know how people who live in such towns in Europe can handle it. Such towns are so picturesque, they look like dollhouse towns with their cobblestone and architecture and ivy everywhere. Lovely!
